Summarizer
Paste a text into the box, and Summarizer will summarize it.
Try it first with a text you know well, like The 2011 State of the Union Address or The Great Gatsby, to get a sense for how it works.
[How it works]
The text is chopped into N (overlapping) chunks, and for each chunk, the sentence most similar to all the others in that chunk is displayed.
Similarity is calculated using a simple word count metric. Incidentally, this "summarizing" technique appears to work better than those based on choosing the most informative or highest entropy sentences.
